Internet Archive
The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public.
Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
Definitions range from one screen to several screens long. A work in progress but still somewhat useful.
Library of Congress
The American Memory (archive) Collection, THOMAS guide to legislation, Global Gateway to world culture and resources, and various Special Exhibitions are among the offerings at this site. The Library of Congress also has a YouTube page with further materials.
New York Public Library

New York State Library
Ebooks, databases, and collections available through the NYS Library. Some materials may require a free NYS Library Card to use.
NY Times Learning Network
The New York Times Learning Network is a free service for students in grades 3-12, their teachers and parents. The site is updated Monday through Friday throughout the year.
NOVEL – New York Online Virtual Electronic Library
A wide variety of resources – books, magazines, newspapers, research and reference sources and more are available to New York State residents with NO FEES 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Check with your librarian for password or log in with a NY State Driver’s License or Non-Driver ID.)
